Producer Dickson Ireogbu expresses opinion about the direction of Nollywood
A lot of things have been said and written about Nollywood practitioner Dickson Ireogbu, but none seems to apparently matter to him more than the growth of the movie industry.
Dickson recently poured out his opinion about the state of the industry urging the public and authorities to look inwardly into the affairs of the industry and as opposed to the focus on personal preferences by the principal driving forces.
“The difference between men and boys is the lessons they have learnt… There’s a school of thought that says ignoring motion picture practitioners in the reconstruction process of Nollywood is like having actors on stage without a direction from the director. Dear friends, do you believe we should encourage Nollywood film makers to include reconciliatory avenues for the splitting giant of Africa in their crafts?”
