Uche Jombo scoops double awards at NAFCA
On Sunday September 16th at the just ended NAFCA awards, Nollywood actress Uche Jombo marked another success in her already highly remarkable career as she scooped two awards in respective categories.
The born screen diva looked out of this world as she strutted the glamorous hall to collect the award for best movie for her blockbuster Damage, and for the best actress in leading role. Although the hardworking producer garnered a whopping eight nominations, scooping the two awards was more than she could ask for and were two of the day’s biggest crowns.
Commenting on the achievement, Uche had this to say:
“All we did was made an advocacy movie hoping to add entertainment to the social fight of say no to family violence. The fans did the rest.”
