The news of Omotola’s husband losing out on his job was almost instantaneous and went viral. Captain Matthew was among the 800 staffers relieved of their duties by the CEO of Air Nigeria, Barrister Jimoh Ibrahim few weeks ago over what he called disloyal and lack of commitment to the company.

Disturbed by the news, Omotola took to twitter to share her feelings;

“Can the ‘intelligent’ people spreading these rumors kindly publish this sack letter please? Smh! Come-hard-or-go-home.”

“To my fans who’ve been worried and sending countless messages, THANKS. You’re the reason I even respond. Nothing to worry about. I and my family are fine.”

Omotola is no doubt one of the best actresses in the Nollywood movie industry. Her husband is also a brilliant pilot, according to those who know him too well. Both have been married for over 15 years. On a lighter note, we recommend that Mr Matthew join his wife in Nollywood and the couple could make brilliant movies together. What do you think? lol
