They have not been the best of friends, but if you ask any of these two screen divas about the kind of relationship that exists between them, all they say is that they don’t have anything together and that’s all. Although both Jackie Appiah and Nadia Buari have featured together in some popular movies, that kind of collaboration between the duo has been amiss for a while now.

Any producer who has plans to have both actresses together on set, will have to go the extra mile and most times, may have to settle for either of the two; just because they don’t get along. The cold war between these two popular actresses had been on for a long time, and quite a lot had been written about it.

For almost one year, not much has been written about the issue because both of them have stayed poles apart. Both Jackie and Nadia were on the list of seven women who were to be honored with special female achievers awards at the official launch of Queens Magazine, which was held at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Accra-Ghana, on Saturday July 21, 2012.

It was Jackie who got to the venue first with her manager Samira Yakubu. Not long after they took their seats, Nadia came in with her mum who doubles as her manager. Both actresses and managers never uttered a word to each other. They both sat very far from one another. Later on, award winning actor, Majid Michel came into the venue and he had to greet the two actresses and their managers in different turns, starting with Jackie. Majid, who came with his wife, later moved his seat and went to sit with Nadia while the event lasted.

After the award presentation, the organizers of the event made efforts to get all recipients of the awards to come together for a group photograph but even then, Jackie Appiah and Nadia Buari made sure they were not part of it.

Also, all the stars and celebrities who attended the event took some time out to exchange pleasantries with one another before leaving the venue something that never happened between Jackie and Nadia. Should it be allowed to continue this way or is it time to smoke a peace pipe?
