Richard Mofe Damijo (popularly known as RMD, born July 6, 1961 in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria.) is a Nigerian actor and politician. In 2005 he won the African Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role.

RMD is known for top African TV soaps like Checkmates, Ripples and many others, and he’s widely regarded as one of the most successful and talented actors in Nollywood, happily married with children.
