The collaborative efforts and resulting success between artistes across the two West African countries of Ghana and Nigeria cannot be overstated. As a result of the shared partnerships in movie production, The African movie industry has leapt tremendously and gained global recognition.

Early stages of the duality between the two nations that have primarily led the movie business and churned out acclaimed global artistes was achieved true the instrumentality of the movie producers. But overtime, the trend has changed and more of the stars have built informal relations and friendships with colleagues from across their borders, one of whom is Omotola Jalade.

Although she features much less in movies now than a few years courtesy of a more selective appeal to focus on only high quality movies, Omotola has found more leisure time at her disposal and made the quick trip to spend time with another artiste friend in Ghana over the weekend.
