“Tango With Me” set to finally be released
After the long wait for Mahmood Ali-Balogun’s multiple award winning movie, “Tango With Me” is set to be released in late summer.
Problem associated with the content and further editions to the DVD version was apparent reasons for the long hold back, but that is said to have been resolved and ready for the screens.
The UK based Distribution Company ‘Talking Drum Entertainment’ has been granted rights to the release and we hopefully should get news of distribution partners for the United States in the coming weeks prior to any release with tentative date set for August 17th.
One of the expectations for the much acclaimed flix is the projected wide reach the movie may achieve as an independent black film from Nollywood. And with the star studded cast featuring the likes of Genevieve Nnaji, Joe Benjamin, Bimbo Manuel, Joke Silva and co, it may just achieve and surpass the set distribution threshold.
