I shaved my hair off specifically for the movie “The Three Widows”

One of the most controversial Nollywood movies to be produced is set to be released soon. Confronting head-on the thematic issue of widows and the complicated conundrum the find themselves in after losing a spouse, “The Three Widows” seeks to depict this movie with a mix of mesmerizing twists and awe for a truly riveting experience.
In the interview below, Rukaya Mashood ho featured as one of the three widows sheds light on what they had to undergo to shoot the movie:

How long have you been in the industry?

I just started a few years back and have done quite a lot of movies.

Which movie is the most challenging so far?

My most challenging movie so far is “The Three Widows”. It was a hard one because I had to shave all my hair, with two other actresses Oge Okoye and Queen Nwokoye.

How many movies have you acted in?

The Three Widows, Divine Princess, Mr and Mrs Ibu, Don of Sakawa, Next Movie Star, Ekeneke, among others.

What is your advice to upcoming artists, most especially females?

My advice to upcoming artists is to be focused and prayerful, because with God all things are possible. Acting is my passion. And I thank Pressing Forward for his support so far. May God keep blessing him.

Anything else you want to add?

Yes, I believe an actress must be ready to deliver when needed.
